My welded cricles

Capadia, on the Cricut Message Board, is a marvel at designing and she worked out how to weld an embellishment inside a circle. This is my attempt and I am very pleased with the result.

70th Birthday card

A friend, who I first met when I lived in Kos, is celebrating his 70th birthday this week. He and his wife love watercolouring and they have done many beautiful paintings. I made this card, with him in mind, as part of a challenge on the Cricut Messageboard. I forgot to take a picture of the inside but it says
" Fabulous at 70", and he is. Happy Birthday John.

Card for a boy

I got this image from a CD that I bought on EBAY from 'michael.dunkley'. The CD was called 'Pergamano, cardmaking pattern CD 400+ patterns'
I love doing parchment work so I thought it was well worth the 99p.
Then I found that it had hundreds of black and white and coloured images on it. Fantastic value, thankyou Micheal.

I hope my friend's son will love this card.

A girl can never have enough shoes............

I got fed up with waiting for Cricut to come up with a decent pairs of shoes on a cartridge, so I decided to make my own using the Design Studio software.

The shoes will need a little trimming at the top and you can trim the width of the heel with your scissors one they are cut out. Then just add some bling and you have a pair of high heeled shoes to add to your cards and scrapbooking pages.

If you like them please leave a comment.

Another Black and White card

This card was made using offcuts of wallpaper which I silver 'stickled' but as it is on black the silver turned green. I added the doodling and the flower gems and wrote 'for you' using a fineliner pen. The main flower is made up of 3 layers which were diecut with my cuttlebug.
Wallpaper is a great resource for patterned paper.

Waterfall card

This is my latest waterfall card. I love using Black and White and jut adding a hint of colour. The squares look a bit crooked but that is down to my dodgy photography. I used Plantin Schoolbook for all the cuts except for the actual card. The Black is leatherlook card. When you pull the bottom heart the pages flip up.
